Keep Float Homes and Boats Safely Afloat

Dear Property Owners of Ladner Reach, Canoe Pass, Sea Reach and Deas Slough.

The Ladner Sediment Group is a group of volunteers formed in 2008 to represent Industry, Float Homeowners, Marinas, and Boaters that live, work, and enjoy the Waterways in our area.
Due to neglect by Local, Provincial and Federal Governments, our Secondary Channels continue to fill in with sediment, causing dangerously low water levels resulting in navigational issues and float home, dock, and boat damage.
In 2008, the Ladner Sediment Group raised $20,000 that helped us secure funding from the City of Delta ($2 Million), Province of BC ($2 Million) and the Port of Vancouver ($2 Million) for partial dredging of the local channels. Your kind donations cover costs including Drone Imagery of the Aug 2023 low tide, media advertising and the development and maintenance of our new website.
The Ladner Sediment Group need your help to raise $25,000 so we can continue working with all levels of Government to secure an Annual Channel Maintenance Program. A donation of $50 per water lot is suggested and donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
